Reflecting on Sixteen Gallery Collective Curated Exhibition
I’m so happy to have been part of the Sixteen Gallery Collective Curated Exhibition this January (15 Jan – 1 Feb 2026). An exhibition that has brought together an incredible community of artists from the Sixteen Online Collective at Sixteen Gallery in Cheltenham.
This show was a collectively curated celebration of creativity: every member of the collective was invited to submit three artworks from their online portfolio, and we all took part in viewing and voting on each other’s work to choose the pieces that would be exhibited.
Seeing the gallery filled with such a wide range of voices and artistic visions (from painting and drawing to mixed media and beyond) has been inspiring. It was a reminder of the strength and diversity of creative practice within this supportive artist-led community.
Being part of this exhibition was not just about showing work, it was about connection, shared creative decision-making, and celebrating the collective spirit of artists who support one another’s journeys. I’m grateful to Sixteen Gallery for hosting this and to every artist whose work shared the space with mine.
As this exhibition comes to a close this weekend, it feels important to mark it here, a reminder of where my work has been seen, the community I’m part of, and the creative conversations that grew from this experience.
